A small suggestion unless you’re only wanting to display shows that you’re interested in…using last.fm, you can get a list of upcoming events in iCal or RSS by venues and color code them as well, and then I’m pretty sure the calendar will update itself as events are added into last.fm…tried incorporating this into a site was working on in the past
